WATER BOIL ORDER ISSUED FOR BRIDGEPORT, OHIO, FOR 48 HOURS – SEPTEMBER 16, 2025
The Village of Bridgeport has issued a citywide water boil order effective immediately due to a water line
break on Hall Street. Hall Street and Howard Street were initially affected by the water break, prompting
crews to shut down multiple areas throughout the town due to the break.
A 48-hour boil order is in effect for the residents of Bridgeport and Brookside.
All residents and businesses in Bridgeport and Brookside are advised to boil all water intended for
consumption.
This precaution will remain in effect for 48 hours, after which the situation will be reassessed.
